RESIDENTS BEWARE There have been a number of ‘sneak in’ raids recently in the Finningley/Blaxton/Auckley areas. Police are warning residents to ensure their doors are locked even whilst they are at home. PC Mark Gee of Doncaster South Safer Neighbourhood team said “The burglars have been sneaking in through unsecured doors. They have taken mobile phones, laptops, cash, purses and handbags.” Most have happened in the early evenings. [Call 01302 385116 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111]

Situated in the Community Centre (off Hayfields Lane and next to Nisa Supermarket) the Nearly New Shop sells clothes, books and Bric-a-brac. You can also get a cup of Tea/Coffee. They are open 9.30 to
11.00 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. (Please note - Term Time Only).

REPORT CRIME At a recent Community meeting local police officers said that it is absolutely essential that members of the public should report any crimes that they may be aware of in their community.
They went on to say that if crimes and anti social behaviour are not reported it makes it difficult for the police to build up a profile of 'crime hotspots'.
Please report incidents so that the problem areas can be targeted and dealt with.
